Time & Date Calculator

Time & Date Calculator

(every day tool for time & date based calculation)

Overview

Time & Date Calculator is an all-in-one suite for time, dates, aviation-grade forecasting, workdays, age, time zones, and countdowns. It is built for people who need numbers they can trust—fast inputs, readable outputs, and a workflow that still makes sense after a long shift on the ramp or at the desk.

When you open the app, your tools are grouped along the bottom: under Time Calculators you will find Smart Time Calculator, Aviation Forecast for component life and calendar due dates, and Fuel Calculator for trip fuel, reserves, and average-burn workflows; under Utilities you will find the standard arithmetic Calculator, Time Zone Converter, Countdown Timer, and Expense Splitter for shared trip costs; Date Tools covers dates, differences, age, and workdays; and Settings is home to preferences, Premium, feedback, and open-source licenses. Tap a category, pick a tool, and go.

Every major tool is built to feel familiar: enter your values, run the calculation, and review results. Where it helps, you can save and revisit past work through history (and, in selected tools, Records for grouping related entries). Optional Premium removes ads, unlocks advanced layout options, keeps unlimited history, and adds professional export formats—details are listed below and in the app.

Core Features

Aviation Forecast (Advanced)

Your flight department, maintenance org, and engineering notebook—condensed into one serious tool. Aviation Forecast is aimed at anyone who lives in airframe and engine hours, inspection intervals, and calendar-based due dates: reliability and continuing-airworthiness engineers, CAMO planners, line and base technicians, powerplant specialists, and pilots or owner-operators who track life limits and servicing milestones alongside their logbooks.

Stop juggling spreadsheets on a phone screen or approximating in your head. Whether you are tracing a component’s time in service, figuring out how much life is left, or asking “when is the next inspection or servicing due—in hours and on the calendar,” this mode is built to answer those questions in seconds, with the same discipline you bring to a tech log or work pack.

Switch at the top between Time mode (think AF hours, ENG hours, life consumed, installed-at data, and due-at-hour targets—the vocabulary your manuals and engineers use) and Date mode (manufacture vs installed anchors, intervals in years, months, weeks, or days, and a clear due-on date plus life remaining). Optional component name and tag fields help you keep parallel jobs straight when you are moving between aircraft, engines, or LRU lines.

Every run can be recalled from dedicated history for time and date forecasts separately—so your last walk-around calculation does not overwrite last week’s hangar estimate. When you need to hand results to a colleague, a regulator-facing summary, or your own archive, Premium adds professional export paths (where enabled in-app) on top of unlimited retention—because in aviation, traceability is not a nice-to-have; it is the job.

Time forecast — hour-domain planning

  • Uses a custom keypad built for time-style fields so you are not fighting the system keyboard in gloves, glare, or turbulence.
  • Enter the values shown on screen—such as current AF / ENG hours, life expired (L.E.), installed-at AF / ENG hours, and inspection or servicing due at AF / ENG hours—following the on-device labels as your authoritative checklist.
  • Optional component name and tag tie each result to a tail number, shop job, or part reference in history.
  • Tap Calculate for outputs including current component hours, life remaining, and inspection or servicing due at AF / ENG hours—the numbers you need before you sign off, dispatch, or brief the next crew.
  • Time forecast history lives in the app bar: review, reuse, or adjust prior runs (editing and export follow the rules shown in your build and Premium status).

Date forecast — calendar-domain planning

  • Anchor from Manufacture date or Installed date—whichever matches your maintenance program or OEM logic tree.
  • Define the inspection or servicing interval as a precise number (including decimals) with unit Years, Months, Weeks, or Days.
  • Reuse component name and tag so calendar-based forecasts stay searchable next to your hour-based runs.
  • See inspection or servicing due on (calendar date) and life remaining in years, months, and days—ideal when the next due date is what goes on the board, the calendar, or the ops brief.
  • Date forecast history is separate from time history, so hour math and calendar math never get tangled.

Smart Time Calculator

  • Time-based arithmetic with a dedicated on-screen flow built for hours and minutes—not a generic clock picker.
  • Add and subtract time in a natural step-by-step way; with Premium you can also use a Full layout that includes multiplication and division of time (free tier uses a streamlined layout focused on add/subtract—switch layouts from the overflow menu when you are a Premium user).
  • Custom keypad and controls so you stay inside the app while entering values.
  • History keeps past calculations with duplicate prevention so repeated identical runs do not clutter your list.
  • Records let you organize or label related sessions alongside history, when you need to group work by job, aircraft, or any workflow you use in the field.
  • Toolbar actions for clear, backspace, history, and creating records—so common tasks stay one tap away.

Fuel Calculator

Planning aid—not a substitute for approved flight planning, dispatch, or regulations. Use it to structure fuel figures with clear inputs and outputs.

  • Pilot-style mode — enter cruise fuel flow in a unit you select (such as litres per hour or US gallons per hour), trip time, contingency as a preset or custom percentage, and a final reserve rule (for example day VFR, night VFR, IFR, or custom minutes).
  • Alternate — enter either an alternate fuel quantity or alternate time at cruise flow, depending on how you brief.
  • Taxi and extra fuel fields capture additional allowances you want included in the total.
  • Optional flight number and route for notes alongside results or history.
  • Results show trip fuel, contingency, reserve, alternate, and total fuel for comparison against tanks or policy.
  • Engineer / ground-style mode — enter total fuel on board, flight or block time, and optional aircraft reference to obtain average burn rate in your chosen flow unit.
  • Custom keypads for time and numeric fields help on small screens; history recalls past runs (subject to your tier).

Date Calculator

  • Add or subtract days (and related intervals) from a date to answer “what date is X days from…?”
  • Ideal for planning milestones, deadlines, maintenance windows, and personal scheduling.
  • Keeps its own history so you can compare past what-if date shifts.

Date Difference

  • Calculates the difference between two calendar dates.
  • Ideal for timelines, contract durations, travel spans, and duration tracking at a glance.
  • Maintains history for quick recall of recent comparisons.

Age Calculator

  • Calculates age from a birth date and a reference date you choose.
  • Shows results in years, months, and days so you get a precise breakdown—not just a single number.
  • Includes support for related views such as milestones and follow-on screens inside the app, so you can explore age context beyond the headline result.
  • History is available from the app bar when you want to revisit prior calculations.

Workdays Calculator

  • Counts business days between two dates.
  • Weekends are excluded by design; you can optionally account for holidays where the app provides that control.
  • Perfect for SLA planning, HR timelines, and “how many working days until…” questions.
  • Stores history for repeat planning sessions.

Time Zone Converter

  • Convert local time between regions and zones without leaving the app.
  • Keeps history for conversions you run often—meetings, fleet coordination, or family calls across continents.
  • Designed to stay readable on a phone: pick zones, set the time, and read the paired result.

Countdown Timer

  • Create and manage multiple countdowns for events, maintenance reminders, or personal goals.
  • Uses notifications (and system scheduling where allowed) so you are alerted when a timer completes.
  • Includes timer history so you can review what ran and when.
  • From the list you can add new timers or edit existing ones; the app keeps the flow simple from setup to alert.

Calculator

  • A full standard arithmetic calculator for numbers—not for time units. Use it for percentages, parentheses, and everyday math next to your time and date tools.
  • Large expression and result display with a familiar keypad layout (including percent, parentheses, and standard operators).
  • History stores past expressions and results so you can review or reuse work.
  • Records work the same way as in Smart Time Calculator: save and group related calculation sessions when that fits your workflow.
  • Backspace, clear, and dedicated actions to open history or start a new record without leaving the screen.

Expense Splitter

Split shared trip or household costs fairly and reduce the number of paybacks needed to settle balances.

  • Works from Utilities: open Expense Splitter to see your trips list, then add or open a trip.
  • Inside a trip, add people (display names from first and optional last name) who share the bill.
  • Add each expense with amount, who paid, and optional note or category so the ledger matches reality.
  • The screen shows a running total and how many expense lines you have entered.
  • Run Calculate to see each person’s equal share, individual balances versus that share, and a simplified settlement list (who pays whom) that minimizes transactions.
  • Adjust people or expenses after the fact and recalculate; use history when the app keeps past settlements for reference.

History System

Each calculator and converter maintains its own history so nothing gets mixed between tools. You always know which screen produced which result.

  • History entries store the valid inputs and results for that tool, so you can audit what you entered.
  • Duplicate prevention is applied where the app would otherwise stack identical runs—your list stays useful, not noisy.
  • Free users retain the latest entries up to the limit shown in the app (commonly the most recent ten per tool—confirm on your version).
  • Premium users receive unlimited history retention so older jobs stay available for reference and export.
  • Where the tool supports it, each history card can include fields such as tag, component name, timestamp, inputs, and formatted results—especially important in Smart Time Calculator, Aviation Forecast, and similar workflows.
  • Smart Time Calculator and Calculator also offer Records: a parallel way to group or file related sessions next to linear history, when your workflow needs both “everything I ran” and “everything for this job.”
  • Premium users can export history data to CSV, PDF, and plain text where the app exposes export actions; monthly fair-use or quota reminders may appear after sharing—those limits are explained inside the app so you always know what applies to your account.

Premium Features (If Enabled)

Premium is purchased through Google Play Billing. Depending on region and promotions, you may see a monthly subscription, a lifetime unlock, or introductory offers—the Go Premium screen in Settings shows live pricing, trial eligibility, and renewal terms.

  • No advertisements—a distraction-free experience across supported screens.
  • Unlimited history storage instead of the free-tier cap.
  • Advanced layout and pro options—for example, Smart Time Calculator’s Full layout with multiplication and division operators, unlocked from the layout menu.
  • Export to CSV, PDF, and text for professional handoff, archiving, or email—subject to the in-app export workflow and any monthly quota notices after successful shares.
  • Sound effects and haptic feedback where enabled in Settings, for tactile confirmation on key presses and actions.
  • Edit history entries where the tool provides an edit path (for example, reloading a past run into the calculator for changes).
  • Future Premium capabilities may be added; the in-app list is the final reference for what your installed version includes.
