Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Smart Time & Date Calculator (also known as TimeDate+), a mobile application developed and published by KavNik Technologies Pvt Ltd ("Company", "we", "our", or "us").
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Smart Time & Date Calculator (package: com.kavniktech.timedateplus), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and KavNik Technologies Pvt Ltd.
If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of the App
Smart Time & Date Calculator is a time and date calculation utility available on the Google Play Store for Android devices. The App provides features including but not limited to:
- Smart Time Calculator with custom keypad input
- Time & Simple Calculator
- Date Calculator (add/subtract days)
- Date Difference calculator
- Age Calculator
- Workdays Calculator
- Time Zone Converter
- Countdown Timer with notifications
- Time & Date Forecast (advanced engineering-style calculations)
All calculation data, history entries, and preferences are stored locally on your device using Room Database and DataStore preferences. No data is transmitted to our servers.
3. License to Use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on a compatible Android device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App or attempt to extract its source code
- Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access or interact with the App
4. In-App Purchases & Refund Policy
4.1 Premium Upgrade
The App offers a one-time in-app purchase ("Premium Upgrade") through Google Play Billing that unlocks additional features, including but not limited to:
- Removal of advertisements
- Unlimited history storage
- Sound effects and haptic feedback options
- Ability to edit history entries
- Other premium features as introduced from time to time
4.2 Payment Processing
All purchases are processed through the Google Play Store using Google Play Billing. We do not directly collect or store any payment information, including credit card numbers or billing addresses. All payment processing is handled by Google in accordance with Google's terms and conditions.
4.3 Refund Policy
Refunds for in-app purchases are subject to Google Play's refund policy. In general:
- You may request a refund from Google Play within 48 hours of purchase
- After 48 hours, refund eligibility is at Google's discretion
- To request a refund, visit your Google Play purchase history or contact Google Play support

5. Advertisements
The free version of the App displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. These ads require an active internet connection. By using the free version, you acknowledge and agree that advertisements will be displayed. The App requires the INTERNET permission solely for serving these advertisements.
Upgrading to Premium permanently removes all advertisements from the App.

6. App Permissions
The App requests the following device permissions, each used for a specific purpose:
- Internet — Required for serving advertisements in the free version only
- Vibrate — Used for haptic feedback when interacting with the custom keypad and buttons
- Notifications — Used to deliver countdown timer alerts when a timer completes
- Exact Alarm (Schedule Exact Alarm) — Required for accurate countdown timer scheduling so alerts fire at the precise time
No permissions are used to collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
7. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the App — including but not limited to its design, user interface, graphics, icons, code, text, and all other content — are and shall remain the exclusive property of KavNik Technologies Pvt Ltd. The App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of India and applicable international laws.
The names "Smart Time & Date Calculator", "TimeDate+", "KavNik Technologies", and associated logos and branding are trademarks of KavNik Technologies Pvt Ltd. You may not use these marks without our prior written consent.
8. User Responsibilities
As a user of the App, you agree to:
- Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
- Ensure that your device meets the minimum requirements for running the App
- Maintain the security of your device and not hold us responsible for any unauthorized access to data stored on your device
- Verify the accuracy of any calculations before relying on them for critical decisions, professional work, or legal purposes
- Not attempt to circumvent the Premium purchase requirement to access paid features
9. Limitation of Liability
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
In particular, we make no warranty or guarantee that:
- Calculations or results produced by the App will be accurate, complete, or error-free
- The App will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or free of defects
- The App will be compatible with all devices or operating system versions
- Data stored locally on your device will be preserved in all circumstances (e.g., device reset, OS update, or app uninstallation)
KavNik Technologies Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to damages resulting from errors in calculations, loss of data, business interruption, or personal injury, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You acknowledge that the App is a general-purpose utility tool and should not be used as the sole basis for decisions in fields requiring certified or verified calculations, including but not limited to aviation, medicine, engineering, legal, or financial contexts.
10. Disclaimer on Calculation Accuracy
While we strive to ensure the accuracy of all calculations provided by the App, results are intended for informational and general-purpose use only. We do not guarantee the correctness of any result produced by the App. Users should independently verify critical calculations and should not rely solely on the App for professional, legal, financial, medical, or safety-critical decisions.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.
Upon termination:
- Your license to use the App is immediately revoked
- You must uninstall and delete all copies of the App from your devices
- Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect, including but not limited to intellectual property rights, limitation of liability, and governing law
You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update or modify these Terms from time to time at our sole discretion. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We may also notify users of material changes through an in-app notice or update notes on the Google Play Store listing.
Your continued use of the App after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the App and uninstall it.
13. Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party services:
- Google AdMob — for serving advertisements to free users
- Google Play Billing — for processing in-app purchases
Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party service providers.
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and KavNik Technologies Pvt Ltd regarding your use of the App, and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or communications, whether written or oral.
